Parent's Night Out

Sign your children up today for Parent's Night Out at Canopy Church hosted by Canopy's Elders and their wives!
This is always a great time for the kids and is a couple of hours for parents to enjoy a dinner together or with other parents, wrap some presents, finish shopping or whatever else may be lingering on that to-do list the week before Christmas. Food and activities will be provided for the kids!

Johnny Weaver

We lost a good man and one of our charter members at Canopy Church yesterday.
Johnny Weaver built our first home out here in Linn Creek and our family has been neighbors with the Weavers for over thirty years. He was like a brother to me! Johnny was a big kid, who loved God’s creation, coached every youth sport in season, and was always willing to help anyone.
For thirty-five years Johnny brought a “show and tell" for Children’s Corner to our kids each Sunday morning. A gentleman who grew up in our church early on remembered Johnny saying at the end of every Children’s Corner, “Just get Jesus in your heart”. Each December he also introduced one of the Advent Candles.
Johnny succumbed to the devastating disease of Alzheimer's on Sunday afternoon. His health had been deteriorating for a few years and quickly declined over the past months.
Our prayers are with his wife, Jennifer and sons, Jake, Jeff, and Jordan. He will be missed by so many!
A Visitation has been scheduled at Canopy this Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Ice cream and Dr. Pepper will be available for all in honor of Johnny Weaver. There will be a Celebration of Life service at Canopy on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
